Doctoral Position Vacancy on Innovation Marketing at the University of Namur-Belgium

Responsabilities

The university of Namur (the departement of business) is offering a 3-year full-time research fellowship in the area of innovation. The domains in which the dissertation could be undertaken are the follwing :

  • service innovation;
  • transformative services and technologies;
  • exploring of disruptive technologies and consumers adoption /rejection;
  • co-innovation and collaborative innovation in the service sector.

The researcher will join a team of doctoral students who are already working in connected areas.

Conditions: Research grant.

The research will be asked to work partly on a collaborative multidisciplinary project with several partners (Other Belgian universities and private partners) to conduct a market research about the adoption of new products in life science industry. The project is funded by the Walloon region. The researcher should therefore, have strong skills in market research, quantitative methods and project leadership.

Profile

  • Holder of a five-year degree in Management, Economics, Sociology, or any discipline, with an interest in innovation;
  • High-quality academic trajectory;
  • Motivation, autonomy and pro-activity;
  • Excellent Research and writing skills;
  • Excellent fluency in English (written and spoken);
  • French is required since several reports should be written in French for the collaborative project.

Remarks

Duration: 3 years, starting 15 of September or 1st October 2016. An additional year could be added after evaluation.
